Catch With A Partner
Benefits
-Improved eye-hand coordination
-Better focus
-Improved reaction time
Instructions
To do this exercise, throw the ball to your partner and have them throw it back to you. As you progress, increase the distance between both of you. A variation of this exercise is speed catch which is catching and throwing the ball as fast as you can while throwing the ball accurately for a given period of time such as 2 minutes. This is a great way to improve eye-hand coordination. Other variations are increasing the height that the ball is thrown which will really require you to focus on the ball and predict where it will land. Another is writing letters on the ball then having your partner call out the letter before they catch the ball. This can help improve your visual cognition and reaction time.
